This former 30 unit sheltered scheme had small units with shared and dated facilities.
The new scheme comprises remodelled flats including 12x 2 bed units formed out of former bedsits, and a newbuild rear extension provides an additional 9x one bed flats for a total of 29 new sheltered homes.
The scheme boasts improved facilities and much greater energy efficiency with added insulation and photvoltaic panels. Completion is due in Spring 2016.
